XML Prep for UAE e-invoicing — launching for the 2027 SME deadline.
Starting 1 July 2027, UAE businesses must submit e-invoices via an Accredited Service Provider. SmartFenek's XML Prep will help you get your invoicing data ASP-ready when the time comes.
Why we're focused on GHG first
UAE GHG reporting has immediate commercial pressure: customers, auditors, investors, and tender processes are already asking UAE businesses for emissions data. E-invoicing has a clearer but later deadline — SMEs don't need to appoint an ASP until 31 March 2027 and aren't mandated to go live until 1 July 2027. We're focusing our product effort on GHG reporting today, and we'll return to XML Prep with a focused launch in late 2026 — well ahead of the SME deadline.

What we'll build
When we launch XML Prep, it will: convert your ERP exports into PINT-AE structured XML; work with any accredited ASP for submission; be available as an add-on to GHG Essentials or Guided Compliance. We're not becoming an ASP — submission stays with your accredited provider.
SmartFenek is not an Accredited Service Provider.
Under UAE Ministerial Decision 64/2025, only accredited ASPs can submit e-invoices to the FTA Electronic Invoicing System. When we launch XML Prep, SmartFenek will prepare the XML data; you or your ASP submit it. Five ASPs are currently accredited — see the Ministry of Finance for the official list.
