The international gold standard for corporate GHG inventories. SmartFenek's Scope 1, 2, and 3 structure follows this framework exactly.
ISO 14064-3 Verification-Ready
Reports are structured to meet ISO 14064-3 verification requirements — audit trail, emission factor documentation, and source traceability all included.
System Boundary: SmartFenek uses the operational control approach — emissions are included from operations over which your company exercises operational control, per GHG Protocol.
UAE-Specific Emission Factors
SmartFenek uses UAE-specific emission factors from official sources, with IPCC factors as fallback where UAE-specific data is unavailable.
Update cadence: UAE grid factors are reviewed annually based on utility reports. Historical reports are pinned to the factor version in effect at submission — your numbers will not change retroactively.
